After 8 yrs of cooking for the rich and famous aboard luxury motor yachts and gathering exotic recipes from around the globe, Julie Wilson decided to leave the suitcase lifestyle and settle closer to home (NZ) in Sydney. After 3 more years of freelancing and cooking for private clients, the opportunity arose for her to start her own business. And in 2011 Figmint Catering was born.

Since owning and operating Figmint catering, Julie has recognized that in todays growingly fast paced lifestyle, having easy access to wholesome fresh food is becoming harder and harder for some people. Fast food & unhealthy snacks are replacing nutritious packed meals.
Having a busy lifestyle herself and being guilty of chomping on a brownie on the go, instead of sitting and eating a salad, she has many times asked herself, how can I change this? An idea was formed and she is coming to the rescue.
